American IPA bursting with citrus aromas and flavors. You’ll find evidence of tangerine, grapefruit, orange and mango in the aroma from the multiple additions of a single hop variety, Citra. There is also a nice malt balance in this bitter, full bodied, doglicious IPA that is a citrus lovers delight.

12 ounce bottle from And Beer, Athens. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical, spicy hops, pale malts, something a little bit dirty, but not too distracting. The taste is bitter citrus hops, some tropical and green hop notes, pale malts. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Deep golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, raw grain, raw hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Citrus and resin taste along with dusty, raw grain. Far from crisp and clean as many competing citrus IPAs are.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, smallish head, hazy lightish orange colour, aroma of guava and rose petals, with some yeastiness and a hint of malt in the back, flavour of orange marmalade, some citrus and bready malt with an empathic herbal bitterness. Nice and enjoyable just not too fresh.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy yellow-golden with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma, a bit stale, somewhat fruity. Crisp flavor of fruity hops with light stale notes, light bready maltiness and a pleasant bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

bottle - Pours copper with a one finger head and some lacing. The aroma is of hops with ample citrus. The flavor has moderate to high bitterness with a good malt backbone. It’s medium bodied and pretty tasty, though not great.

From the bottle this is a big nasty mess of bitter BS. Metallic aroma and it looks pretty voscous getting poored into the glass. Trribly on style and more like an impy beer. Lager lovers will find the flavor of this beer difficult to enjoy. If you like IPA, forget about my numbers. This is a rototilling piece of ground digging machinery all over the inside of your mouth, and it doesn’t go away anytime soon.

12oz bottle. Hazy golden-orange body, lots of slow rising carbonation bubbles withing. Creamy, patchy, glass-lacing head. A pretty nice new school IPA, lots of delicate citrus tones. Smooth, toasty, clean malt backbone. Pink grapefruit, tangerine, mango, orange...lots of flavor. Balanced, well executed, no shortage of hop flavor. Nice beer.
