A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.

3/III/15 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: 19/XI/16 (2015-254) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy orange beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, sweet, resinous, some overripe fruits, sweet malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: yes! Nice stuff... Fruity start, yet pretty bitter, citrus, pineapple, bit sourish. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, dry, piny, bit resinous, little funky almost.

(330ml bottle from Mikkeller & Friends shop) Pours hazy copper with a huge pillow of off white head that recedes to a cap that lingers with lace. Aroma of caramel and biscuit malt with orange and grapefruit peel, pine needle, earthy. On the palate, core of moderate caramel sweetness with bready, biscuity malt notes. Orange and grapefruit, florals, earthy pine. Munich malt comes out clearly on the finish which is pretty dry and fairly lightly bitter for style. Astringent tea quality on the aftertaste. Fairly light body with moderate creamy carb. Not super punchy hops for an IPA, a bit malt driven. A decent beer but not amazing. Easy drinking however.

Fat på Tempo, Malmö. Smak och doft av mango, aprikos, jäst, grapefrukt och granskott. Lagom sötma, väldigt fruktig och frisk, beska med smak av grapefrukt och tall. Mycket välbalanserad, riktigt gott.

From a 330ml bottle on 266/2014. Pours a cloudy, dirty light amber with a biggish thick head. The nose features lots of fruity hops, with a touch of spice and yeast. Taste wise, it’s quite full on, and typical of a US style IPA, with caramel malt, some sweet citrus fruit, and a big, resiny, sticky, slightly spicy, salty, lingering hop bitterness at the end. Has a medium to full body and average carbonation. A very good, satisfying IPA.
