2 Jaar geleden ontwikkelden we in de ketels in Kuringen een Brahmbezebier. De 150 flessen waren in een mum weg en daarom besloot Piet van de Groene Ridder in Ham om het iets groter aan te pakken. Zijn zomervakantie besteedde hij aan het plukken van de vruchten in natuurreservaat de Rammelaars. Resultaat is een fruitig bier van 5.9% alc vol. dat ideaal is om in een lentezonnetje te degusteren. Het bier wordt aangeboden in bakjes van 6x75cl maar kan natuurlijk ook per stuk gekocht worden. Bestellen kan bij Piet op 013/675065, in de Groene Ridde Bergstraat 6 3945 Ham tijdens de openingsuren of ook via gert@jessenhofke.be.

Gents bierfestival Nr 5 Pours unclear, muddy purple/brown . Small white head Smell is fleshy , fruity . Taste is bitter , sharp fruity , bit of funk . Full body , high, but OK carbonation .

Hazy pinkish salmon colour, white head. Light aroma, quite fruity, canned strawberries. Light sweet, fruity flavour. Quite dry. Finish fruity, canned strawberry, rhubarb. Starts out quite fresh and decent, but a full 75cL bottle is too much, it could do with a bit more body imho.

Bottle 750ml. corked.Unclear matt medium yellow red colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white with a pink noted head. Aroma is ligt to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, berry, blackberries. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average . Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle, 75cl. A pinkish golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. There’s some fruityness, berries I guess, in the aroma, which is rather weak and dull. Some white sugar too. Lighlty herbal flavor with sweetness and berries. Medium to thin on the palate, with pleasant carbonation. Quite dry. Herbal bitterness in the end. Definitely not my choice of fruit/berry-beer. 130215
