Our house English dark mild features big toasted malt notes and mild nuttiness but is lighter in body than most dark ales to make for a true pub crusher. Tasting notes of biscuits, toffee, fig, and walnut.

Brewery draught, 1/17/25.
Darker copper-amber. Small, beige head. Clear.
Rich base malt with a bit of medium malt adding light caramel and brown bread suggestions. Minimally fruity. Clean, low hop character.
Richly-malty and good dryness. Mild, herbal hopping and gentle fruity esters with base malt and a hint of brown bread and toast as the main force. Drinkable, flavorful and balanced.

Pour is a dark brown with a large mocha tan head. Aroma is a mix of maris otter and chocolate malt. Flavor is roasted nuts, a little dark fruit and a wee bit of chocolate. This is a perfect mild ale. Not going to wow you but this has nice flavor with a nice thin body.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, raisin. Slick body, cracker, raisin, toasted malt, light finish, very good.
