A single barrel of our imperial stout that was aged in a Willett Bourbon barrel for 16 months before being racked to a single VSOP Cognac barrel and finished for 8 months before release.

Bottle at Side Project. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong cognac, wood, roast, dark chocolate. Slick body, cognac, vanilla, dark chocolate, wood, cloying sweetness, enjoyed this.
