Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Bitter roast with coffee, espresso, roasted malt, bit burnt. Moderate sweet with a firm bitterness. Above medium bodied, bitter and roasty with a load of coffee. Drinks below its 11%.

Van fles bij NHBF ‘24. Zwarte kleur, beige-bruine kraag. Modder, gist, fors droog en gebrand, neigend naar inkt, erg bitter, pure chocolade, hout, zoethout, bittere finish. Mist balans.

Very dark brown with lasting head. It has lots of bitter burnt malts and coffee. Nice smooth texture too.

Black beer with a beige coloured foam. Aroma of mid sweet dark malt, less roasted malt, melasse, vanilla. Taste of sweet dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, some vanilla.

Bottle at home. Opaque black color, full sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, heavy roast, coffee and surprisingly a light touch of hops. Flavor is malts, heavy roasted malts, coffee, malt and coffee bitterness. Quite heavy, not an easy beer to drink, but not bad for sure.

Gedronken tijdens het Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival in den Bosch. Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met stevig bruin schuim. Aroma van rook en gebrande mout. De smaak is houtig en rokerig. Nasmaak is licht bitter en rokerig.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven, SandervdL en Roelzie op het Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival 2023 in den Bosch. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, koffie, chocolade en rood fruit.
