Lovely Smokey notes, campfire and beechwood. Sticky, sweet, caramel malts, minimal to no hops. Good mouth feel, lovely carb. Low bitterness, subtly sweet, and smoky. Notes of whisky and toffee with a soft spiciness.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet malt aroma with caramel, plenty of spicy rye, toffee, light smoke, and notes of dried fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with an above moderate bitterness. Body is medium. I'd have liked a bit more smoke, that being said the caramel malt and rye work well.

Bottle at home, dark brown beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, bit smoke, some fruit. Taste is the same, not much flavour, bitter with some fruity sweetness and a dusty dryness, meh

Amber-brown, with a hint of haze. No head. Big fresh smoke and rye aroma, quite fresh, Lots of smoke on the palate, some crystal malt, a hint of rye... the elements are complex, but it's actually not complex...if that makes sense.

330mL bottle, pours a murky dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some salty smokiness, toasted malt, and a touch of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with smoked peat and toasted malt. Quite peaty, but without much depth -- very thin body. Not too interesting.

(bottle) clear, bright reddish orange colour with a small cream colored head; aroma of jam; don’t really get any smokiness; dryish flavour with a long, light bitter finish, rather austere

330ml bottle. (5.2% ABV) Pours a hazy orange-amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, toffee, rye, raisin and light smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, ash, raisin, earth, rye and smoke in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok.
