500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is grainy, light toffee malt, light woody hop. The flavout is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, light hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A decent and rather bitter session ale.

A golden ale with added wheat; which isn’t always my most favourite ingredient in beer. A good light colour with a foaming head that dissipated to pretty lacing in the tankard. Bitter hops, a sweet flavour from the malt and that wheat lurking in the background. It was tasty, with a good mouth feel and a thirst quenching bitterness from the wheat. So, is this a wheat beer that I enjoyed? Not one to seek out again and not a patch on their Black Cat, but nice nonetheless at the end of the working day and once the kids are in bed.
