Can from LCB, 7 months still in date. Dark brown colour with small beige top. Quite a sweet aroma with dark malt, chocolate, cookies, vanilla. Taste is the same, modest bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Decent, maybe a touch one dimensional.

Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small head. Its vanilla is prevalent and sweet, and does taste like cookie dough with a very good smoothness.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, aromatic hops. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, roasty, floral, aromatic, sugary marzipan palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
