330ml bottle. Opaque, chestnut colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Toasty and minimally chocolately, dark malty and slightly yeasty fruity aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, plum, cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and slightly toasty, dark and caramel malty, yeasty fruity, notes of milk chocolate, dark caramel, cherry, plum, some raisin. Slightly creamy, almost a tad slimy, still watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally metallic palate, medium, mildly prickly caronation. Nice composition, enjoyable sweetness - good.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts intense malty, roasty, earthy notes as well. Some hints of dried fruits, some caramel. Light hints of liquorice. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Nice!

Smooth mild beginning. Roast, grain with a deep caramelly fruity bitterness. Easy to drink, caramel, grain. Bitter fruity in the end, grain and nuts. Nice sweetish-fruity finish in the dark roasted bitterness.

Bottle from Beyond Beer. Dark brown, nice tan brown head. Nose is roasted malt, not so sweet, a bit of mild herbal note perhaps. The flavor however is sweet with brown sugar, roasted nuts, chocolate malt, and a nice complexity of yeast esters. Very big mouthfeel! Earthy hop bitterness and black malt notes at the end. I wouldn't drink two, but one is the perfect amount for dessert.
