This is Divide & Conquer, our fearlessly hop forward New England Pale that's as smooth as it is striking – and never one to be underestimated. Expect dramatic waves of juiciness and a haze that won’t quit. Brace yourself for a charge of Mosaic and Simcoe, delivering notes of pineapple, passionfruit and pine.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy pale yellow. Great fruity hops, tropical, citric, slightly oniony, slightly sweetish, moderate green bitterness. Good.

Can from Tesco. Murky golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pineapple and mango. Flavour of grapefruit and orange squash. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. It’s a bit thin but has nice fruity hop flavours.

330ml can packaged 15/6/20 at 5%. Hazy pale orange and the first time I will deduct a point in my review for the head being too large. It was half foam in the glass and took a couple of minutes to settle. Having said that once settled it had a good level of retention. Aroma has quite a juicy tropical note with pine. Taste slightly juicy but with a grassy almost cardboard note and quite piney. Moderate body and nice soft carbonation. Its decent but, beer styles to one side, it lacks either more juiciness in flavour or a greater malt base to enhance the depth.

Keg @ Tap east, London. Clear amber body with a medium sized, lacing beige head. Aroma has mild roasted dark malt, bread, citric fruit, pine and some coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, moderate roasted dark malt, mild coffee, citric fruit, pine and a quite distinct sharp bitterness without actually being that bitter. Medium body and fine aftertaste of dark malt, citric and piney hops. Nice one.
