Don’t even talk to me until I’ve had my coffee! Nice malts topped with bright Ethiopian beans roasted right down the street by our friends at House of Funk Roasting. Rich mouth feel that tastes larger than life, while still being low alcohol. Perfect as a rainy beverage or a coffee substitute!

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, brown sugar, ash and dark chocolate in a dry, mild bitter, coffee finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and easy to drink, but a bit thin for the style.

Jet black brown with a frothy light brown head. Dark chocolate and some coffee notes. Bitter dark chocolate and some coffee notes. Light body and easy drinking.

473 can. Pours black with full tan head of big bubbles. Aromas of chalky roasted malts. Flavors of ashy roasted malts and cola. Not really getting any coffee. Nope…

Dark brown body and wonky foam. Aroma is nice coffee, sweet oatmeal, brown sugar. Taste is nice coffee, cocoa, soft chocolate syrup, ends a little too wet. Decent enough, a little simple, kind of phoning it in for a beer like this.
