[From notes at anniversary event] Poured from the tap. Clear, light copper with small white head. Bready malt, mild toasted nuts, overall fairly subdued which actually makes it, while not all that interesting, quite easy drinking.

Light amber colour. Bubbly head. The aroma has some toasty-caramelly notes but it's also fruity with a touch of pedio. Ok, so it's wobbly on the palate. Touch of tartness, some DMS. Yes, some toasty notes...it's not the malts that are the issue here, it's the ferm.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Golden colour, clean; compact head, but reducing quickly. Mild aroma of bready malt. Good body strength, it has some residual sweetness; soft mouthfeel; bready malt flavour, some toffee accent, but it's fairly plain; correct bitterness without much hop character, which is expected for the style.
Average Bock, bit pleasant and clean.

Has good light clear copper body and modest foam. Smells of weak caramel, toffee, a little flat. Taste is simple breadiness, slight caramel, brown sugar. Ends clean and smooth at least. It seems brewed well enough but it's incredibly boring.

On tap at Studio, pours a clear copper amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted bread, a hint of dry caramel and some nuttiness. Flavour is fresh, dry and malty, with bready malt, a hint of caramel and light herbaceous notes. Fairly dry but with a good bready malt character. Pleasant.
