This special full-bodied stout has been aged in Spanish Oak Butts used to mature Ancnoc 18 and 24 year old. Candied orange, warm honey and sweet vanilla flavours are delicately combined with woody coconut characters from the hops.

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a finger thick beige head. Wooden, Sherry like notes atop a thick chocolate Stout. Thick and solid body, again chocolate richhness without much, roasty bitterness. And lovely but subtle wood and whisky accents with downplayed tannins. Warming alcohol finish. I had feared Islay in this, but what a pleasant surprise. 110323

Can 0.44l. Almost clear, very dark red to black colored. AROMA- alcohol, roasted, whiskey, coffee, chocolate. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, bitter, warming, sugar, roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, whiskey, a bit leafy. Fuller bodied. Tasty.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe, mørk sjokolade, vanilje og appelsinmarmelade. Middels fylde. Kaffebitter, mørk sjokolade og noe floralsk. Middels lang.

Svart med medelstort men tätt skum. Kaffe, ekfat och rostad malt smeker näsan. Rund och len med smak av rökig whisky, ekfat och rostad malt. Alkoholen värmer i bröstet. Bra!
