Draught (backlog). Deep brown colour with a beige creamy head. Aroma is chocolaty, some nutty notes, spices as well as some quite mashlike sweetness to it. Flavour is lactic, some toasted notes, chocolate, mild star anise, alcohol as well as some grains and quite sweet malty notes.

Draught @ St. Urho’s Portteri- ja Stoutpäivät 2014
Aroma is odd and sweet with some berry juice, some vanilla notes and hints of roastiness. Flavour has slightly tart raspberry juice, some milk chocolate and distant roasted tones. Not very stout, more like berry juice with touch of roastiness. Feels also a bit worty.

(Keg at St. Urho’s Pub Portteri- ja Stout-päivät ’14) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had burnt rubber, wort and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, raspberries, wort, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A brew with really weird and also unpleasant flavours and scents. I didn’t like.

Draught @ St. Urho’s Pub, Helsinki (Portteripäivät 2014)
Pours pitch black with a thick white head. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, sweet lactic notes, herbal notes and spices. Taste is smooth, milky and slightly roasty with lactic and herbal notes, some berries, hints of chocolate and cocoa. Finish is a bit messy with smooth lactic notes, maltiness and sweet milk chocolate notes, hints of spices and anise. Quite strange, feels a bit off.
