Draught@Villi Wäino, Helsinki. (backlog). More or less black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some liquorice, mild roasted notes along with some spicy yeast as well as some black old coffee. Flavour is chocolate, roasted malts, some wooden notes, mild ashes as well as some slight yeasty notes. Apart from the ashy notes it’s also got some dark berries in the aftertaste.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20131115) The beer poured black. Its head was large and lightly brown. Aroma had liquorice, burnt malts, sweetness and hint of Belgian style yeast. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee, sweetness, mildly Belgian style yeast and low bitterness. Afteraste had burnt malts, sweetness and bitterness. A nice but cofusing stout.
