Paradoxe is a naturally soured farmhouse ale that is inspired by the world’s great sours combined with the use of locally grown ingredients to deliver a uniquely modern farmhouse-style ale.
Utilising Australian bred grown hops and indigenous souring bacteria, Paradoxe displays upfront aromas of white wine, melon & tropical fruits with a bracing sourness and barnyard-like mid-palate and finishes firm yet highly complex

Bottle shared at Salud, side by side with the Serendipite. This one is hazy to cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of overripe lemon and light barnyard. Taste is softly sour stone fruit with light funk and a dry finish. Solid beer.

[10/16] Bottle. Straw-coloured. Hazy with a fat coat of white head that fades in short order. A: Under-ripe nectarine, green mango, grapes, hay, spices, lime, leather. 7+ Slightly slipperiness adds a little body, but it’s fairly light. Lowish carbonation. Moderately sour but not all that funky with lots of fruit (grapes, apricot,, green mango) and damp hay. A fair bit of bitterness at the end too. Nice to see La Sirène going for something new (and succeeding). [3.8] [4/17] This one is quite briney - so much so that it seems odd that I missed it, but eh. Refreshing, interesting, elegant. And this one is more white wine minerally than briny. No head. Apricot, greenish mango, Dubbin, bracken. Mellow and rather classy.
