Draught@HBF2016. Black colour, small head. Aroma is liquorice, wood, some nutty notes as well as mild alcohol and some ripe fruits. Flavour is fruits, wooden, some liquorice, alcohol and surprisingly dry as for the palate.

(Keg at HBF2016) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lighly brown. Aroma had vanilla and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were vanillla, wood, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste were vanilla and bitterness. A good attempt to barrel age a once good brew.

Draught @ HBF 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roastiness, hints of bourbon, wood, oak, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and woody with hints of bourbon, wood and oak. Finish is smooth and oaky with hints of sweet syrup. Okay.

Tap@ HBF 2016. Near black with a thin but lasting brown head. Roasted malt, licorice, wood and tobacco. Complex stuff. Flavor has coffee, wood, tobacco and dark chocolate. Dry finish. Really tasty. Balanced.

Tap at HBF2016. Dark brown color, small white head. Rye bready bourbon aroma. Full-bodied. Sticky. Clearly Imperiaali flavor. Dark bread, rye, licorice. Then quite strong bourbon and alcohol. Nice.

Tap at HBF 2016, Helsinki. Colour is black with almost no head. Aromas and flavours: Bourbon, some alcohol, sweetness, dark chocolate and roasted malts.
