(Draught at Bryggeri Helsinki, 28 April 2016) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with black rye bread, pine needles and chocolate. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, rye bread and a generous piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made, with an impressive hop character. Nice one.

Draught@HBF2016. Deep amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, some bready, sugary and mild herbal notes to it. Flavour is nutty, mildly toffeeish, herbal and wooden. Smooth.

Draught @ HBF 2016. Pours dark brown with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of roasty malts, hay, grass, pine and coffee. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and grainy with some coffee, grass and hay. Finish is smooth, slightly crisp and roasty with some hints of coffee and grass. Pretty smooth but quite balanced.

Tap at HBF2016. Nut brown color, small off-white head. Nice chocolaty hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Chocolaty, malty, clean. Low bitterness but tasty. Nice.

(Keg at HBF2016) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, caramel and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A nice toasted brew.

Tap at HBF 2016, Helsinki. Colour is clear brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, fruits, citrus, dryness, hops and malts. Very nice dry brown ale.
