Tried the lsd and sundowner at the same time. The others have a softer mouthfeel. This is a decent bitter though it's full of maltiness with a fair bitterness.

Cask-conditioned at the JDW in Petersfield, Hants 30/6/2017. Deep amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Sweet , slightly bready, malts, leafy hops, some caramel and plum fruit, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask (backlog). Amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some mild berries, wood and mild resiny/sappy notes to it. Flavour is toffee, mild nuttiness along with some berries, mild herbs and some resiny notes as well. Easy to drink, and good session bitter.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. A pale chestnut pour with a thin cream head; malty aroma; caramel malt taste with a light spicy bitterness; and a long malt finish. A very satisfying malt-lead bitter - the best of it’s kind I’ve come across for a long time.
