Bottled. Deep amber colour with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy along with strong caramel malts as well as some raisins, mild ripe fruits and a bit resiny notes. Flavour is caramel, some raisins, yeast, mild spices as well as some ripe fruits. Pleasant, but a bit too sweet, with also the alcohol giving a sweet kick.

Hazy dark amber color, small white head. Fruity, sweet aroma of raisins and prunes. Medium to full-bodied, sticky palate. Flavor has raisins and prunes, "trappist yeast" flavor. Finishing a bit empty for this strong beer. Could improve over the time a bit, but not a failure by any means.
