Bottled (backlog). Goldeny amber colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is grass, some earth, toffee and mild herbal and wooden notes. Flavour is earth, grass, toffee and some mild herbal notes. A bit floral and bitter tones to it as well as some slight metallic notes too.

Can. Not a world class beer, but a nice break from the pale Spanish lagers. It’s a clear, deep golden beer with a dense, off-white head leaving nice lacings. Bread, caramel, roasted notes and hints of butterscotch and some metal in the aroma. The flavor has breadcrusts, caramel, notes of metal and butterscotch. Medium, creamy mouthfeel. It’s quite pleasant, but a bit too metallic. (070210)

Brakspear in a can? What is this world coming to? Chestnut colour with a thin head and faint haze. Aroma is of buttery, hazelnutty malts with a slight touch of peat and hard candy. Somewhat watery mouthfeel but weighty as well. Sweet caramelly maltiness (like a suped-up Dos Equis) and an almond-skin like astringency in the finish. Though it doesn't say so, this has Scottish leanings, but is a weak sister in the Brakspear family.
