AS STATED ON THE SITE: Golden coloured, this style originates in the german city of Koln. It´s the most widely spread style in southern germany. It´s denominated weissbier (white beer) due to the utilisation of wheat (weis) with a dry finish due to the hops variety used, original from Germany.

Golden color, smalll white head. Light grainy malty, some fruity notes. Light-bodied. Light fruity, citrus notes. Papery and a bit tart. Not very fresh.

Bottled@PBF IX. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some herbal notes. Flavour is citrus, some mild herbs and grass. A very strange beer for being called Rubia...

Pours clear golden with a thick head. Aroma of earthy notes, yeast, wheatiness and spices. Taste is smooth, wheaty and slightly yeasty with some spices. Finish is malty and dry with some yeastiness and wheaty notes. Okay.

Aroma has sweet malt, grain and honey. Flavour is bulky with grainy malt, some herbal tones and hints of mint in the finish. Feels a bit old.
