Valmistuksessa käytetyt paahdetut maltaat tuottavat punertavan värisävyn ja kevyen paahteisen jälkimaun. Maltillinen humalointi antaa tuotteelle kevyttä hedelmäisyyttä ja napakan katkeran puraisun.

Draught (Villi Wäinö, Helsinki) - Hazy copper red in colour. Raisins, nuts and a hint of toffee in the aroma. Fruity, nutty and hoppy taste with nores of walnuts, toffee, daim and dried fruit. Nicely balanced.

Draught@HBF 2014. Copper colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is rye bread, some mild chocolate, toffee and sweet malts along with some slight herbal and floral notes. Flavour is herbal, grassy and floral along with quite a rye and nutty like sweet maltiness to go along with it. Actually quite simplistic, but refreshing and easy to drink.

(Keg at Kaunis Kampela, 20140405) The beer mahogany coloured. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, rye bread and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, rye bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A bit mellow pale ale.

Tap at Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki. Colour is clear copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Rye, hints of chocolate, dryness and malts. Clean and nice drinkability. Again pretty nice one from Malmgård.

Draught @ Hilpeä Hauki
Malty aroma with rye, vanilla and some resiny tones. Also hay and berries. Flavour has berries, some cocoa tones, rye and some hops. Dry palate. Decent.
