Taster at the brewery, summer 2013 from notes. I thought I’d rated this already... A darker yellow color than the pils with a white head that left behind a credible amount of lacing. It’s got a West Coast pale ale type of bouquet of c-hops, mostly pine. The taste is a solid pine bitterness at first that fades into citrus/lemon notes. Not so complex but a well made pale ale. 3rd out of my taste but closely behind the weizen.

Slightly hazy golden color, small white head. Caramel and exotic fruityness in the nose. Medium to light bodied. Citrus, orange peels in the flavor. Nice session APA.

Aroma has lots of hay, some toffee and apricot. Flavour is fruity with apricort, toffee and hay. Finishes with English hops. Also some honey. Fruity and refreshing, I would guess this to be a golden ale.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2013. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild yeast, some floral and grainy notes. Flavour is floral, grainy and a bit grassyness. More like a Kellerbier than an APA...

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20130720) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and quite intense bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. An ok pale ale with German like hop profile.

Tap at Brewpub, Bryggeri Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, grape, sweetness, hops and malts. Quite light, fresh, easy to drink but enjoyable summer beer. Again not a miss from Bryggeri Helsinki.

Pours yellowish orange with a foamy head. Aroma of fruits, crisp malts and grassy hops. Taste is crisp, slightly fruity and hoppy with some malty notes. Finish is bitter, grassy and lemony. Okay, quite easy going but balanced session APA.
