Draught@CPH BF 2013. Black colour with a beigeish brown creamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, some spices and mild toffee as well. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, spices, toffee, alcohol and some mild notes of chocolate as well. Quite different IS, but still pleasant, although the spices create a quite strange world of taste.

Draft. A red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and a bit of soy sauce.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2012. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Roasted and spicy nose and flavor. Herbs and odd spices. Smooth and slick. A bit of alcohol warmth. Well made- not my thing though.

On tap at Ølfestival 2012. Black with a small tan head. A lot of licorice both in the aroma and taste. Also roasted malt, spices, caramel, coffee and chocolate. The finish was long and bitter. The aroma was a bit better than the taste.

Draught. Roasted aroma, good spicy hop aroma. Black colour, seems cloudy. Spicy and yeasty flavour. Caramelly liquorice note. Rather roasted finish with a slightly harsh raw liquorice note. A bit sweet also, and tastes like a liqueur. Too rough, I think.

On tap. Pours an opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Very annoying aroma of overripe fruit - almost rotten - and Belgian yeast. Medium body, again yeast dominates with some confusing spices. Very tired mouthfeel. Fairly subdued hops but some alcohol burn in the finish. A bit of a mess to be honest! 100512
