Our Ol*mpic ale. We’re not allowed to use the ‘twenty twelve’ word, but let’s just say this is athletically brewed for fun and games this August!
We’re a pretty patriotic bunch and will be cheering TeamGB, of course, but don’t mind paying tribute to our old allies with this light, blonde beer made with fragrant Polish Marynka hops.

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 18/10/2012. Pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of herbal hops with a touch of herbal fruit. Flavour had solid, slightly earthy, malts with a lingering, bitter finish. Good.

Cask@The Hillgrove Porter Store, Bristol. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and a bit herbal as well. Flavour is earthy, caramelly, floral and mild fruityness. Quite balanced, but not very exciting.
