On tap at Griffin Claw, pours a clear pale copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with dank hops, plenty of resins and pine, and a sweet biscuity malt base. Flavour is full of dank, piney hops, sticky resins, some alcohol, and sweet biscuity malt. The sweetness is kept in check by the strong alcohol presence, while the truckload of hops still manage to overpower everything. Really well-constructed. Delicious.

Can. Orange blonde. Grassy oily hops, citrus and pineapple in the aroma and flavor. Plastic. Sweetish. Decent, slightly alcoholic.

Burk Dipa provning Wilhemshill. Ljus lätt grumlad dryck. Doftar milt av malt och apelsin. I munnen känns välintegrerade smaker av Apelsin, lite kryddad smak. Eftersmaken kommer lite parfym som stegras . Mjuk känsla och lång smakrik. Lite udda smaker men jättegod.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Soft malts, quite sweet, creamy sweetness and a little lactose sweetness. Pine. Juicy and somewhat tropical fruits. Citrus peel underneath. Light spice. Semi dry finish. A flavoursome dipa that has an overall resinous and ripe feel. Good stuff.

Golden and creamy, not much foam. Aroma is sweet, honey and ripe biwa-fruit. Going to the barleywine territory. Tastes sweet and strong, balanced sweet, honeyglaze and hops also there imparting bitterness. Bit of vegetable herbs in the finish, somewhat medicinal. Nice warming DIPA, not juicy but we’ll any beer with ass in the name can’t be flowery, can it?

Very sweet malty backbone but not super strong. Boozy. Tons of pink grapefruit. Big. Not bad

Murky, ugly shade of brown-amber. Dank and sticky. Not bad, but not one I need to try again.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a very recent release. Listed at 9.5% and 75 IBU on the bottle. Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, floral, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, peach, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, light pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth, fairly creamy, and lightly slick/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice DIPA. All around great robustness, complexity, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. Definitely on the maltier side of the style, but still very bright and juicy on hop flavors. A very enjoyable offering.
