Dark ruby, almost opaque color, steady small beige head, lace. Aroma has licorice, cough syrup and soya sauce. Light bodied. Heavy carbonation. Licorice, dark rye bread, soya, very medicinal flavor. Not in top condition.Like mjs wrote: this is like non-alcoholic dark beer.

On tap @Black Door, Helsinki. Poured dark brown with almost no head. Aroma and flavor is very similar, liquid loaf all the way. Some raisin and medicine in aroma as well. Just like eating dark bread. Which I like. Thin body though.

Draught@Black Door, Helsinki (excellent first beer on a Sunday, after a rather hard Saturday evening). Very deep brown colour, close to black, with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, ashes, some chocolate, mild floral notes as well as some slight coffee as well. Flavour is roasted malts, mild rye like notes, some chocolate, mild bitterness as well as some slight mashy notes.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki. 20110924) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had roasted malts, cocoa and hint of hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were non-alcoholic sweet beer, roasted malts, cocoa, mildly hops and lightly bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and very mildly bitter. The aroma was ok but the flavour resembled a beer the fermenation of which has been focefully stopped.
