Cask at the Prince Albert, Wall Heath. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium head. Not much on the nose, just some faint lemon and a hint of hops. Slightly sweet taste to start with some hops somewhere. Low bitter finish. Watery. Easy to neck when itโs really hot I reckon, but not a good session when itโs a bit cooler.

Cask at the Pheasant, Ashford, Kent. This really hit the spot for me - an excellent example of what a summer ale should be. Full of hop character, but also light and refreshing. Straw coloured with a dense cream head; fresh leafy hop aroma; resinous bitter flavour at first , leading to some biscuity malts; a clean fresh hoppy finish. More please.
