Infused with Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Good body with notes of toasty oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.
We put the Bourbon in a large barrel and add American roasted and toasted oak flakes. After 3 weeks this mixture is ready to be added to the beer in the bright beer tank. This way we obtain a maximum performance of the used liquor strengthened with the taste of the used oak flakes to enrich our beer.

Clear orange beer, big creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: green apples, floral, bit soapy, little malty. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, some tannins, bit hoppy, dry, spicy touch, dead yeast, green apples, bit dirty, bit sourish. Aftertaste: malty, some chocolate, yeast, bit sourish, some orange peel, where’s my darn whisky? :-p

Cette Lazarus Whsky Infused ne dénote en rien aux autres...toujours aussi médiocre. Et tout comme celle au sherry et celle à l'armagnac, j'ai eu vain de cherche le whisky. Je regrette d'avoir acheté ces bières. Pour la description de cette version au whisky je vous renverrai à celle à l'armagnac, peu équilibrée et brouillonne autour d'arômes de miel, de pêche, de pain, de banane et de fut de chêne, mais ici vous rajoutez une acidité un peu plus marquée et un final aigrelet qui n'arrange rien à l'affaire. Mais je tourne avec grand plaisir cette page Lazarus...

Bottle. Golden color. Vanilla and a hint of bourbon in the aroma. Malt, fruit, vanilla and some bourbon in the flavor. Slightly alcoholic. Decent.

Oranjebruin bier met schuim . Smaak is licht bitterzoet en ietwat kruidig met een lichte whisky bijsmaak. Goed bier maar niet bijzonder.
