Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee, quite some alcohol, vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of chocolate, nice roast, pretty alcoholic, sweetish, lots of caramel. Aftertaste: boozy, some cinnamon, dark chocolate, nice roast, bitter, complex, lovely, nice stuff going on here!

Can. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, coffee and roasted malt, no rum really. Taste has chocolate, coffee, burned caramel, licorice, some tarr, malt and some warming booze flavor. Weird how the rum is very subtle, usually the barrel is upfront with kees. Allright.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before March 2022. Pitch black with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, some red berries and a touch of rum. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty and even a little fruity-resiny taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some rum and a touch of pine as well as tropical fruits, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very rich and saturating beer, must only have touched the barrel though. Good!

06.04.2019, tap @ BCBF:
Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, oak, sour-ish roasted grain, minerals, bark, sour grass, unripe banana, rhum, chocolate. Taste is sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, oak, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, alcohol, dark malts, fruit stones, soil, chocolate, soil, alcohol, sour coffee. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough, not really my cup of coffee.
