(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 8 Mai 2014, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20140315) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses, wort and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, yeast, molasses, sweet chocolate and low bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent dubbel.

Flip top bottle 330ml (Saveur)
Chestnut brown color, small beige head. Aroma of raisins and date. Medium-bodied. Raisin sweetness in the flavor (kind of overriped too), hints of alcohol, quite simple malt profile. Some chocolate notes. Decent dubbel.

Bottle. Clear, deep amber/brown (cola) body. Frothy beige head. Malty aroma of caramel, toasted grain. Notes of candy, fruity esters, Belgian yeast. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Sticky finish. A bit grainy in flavor and chalky in mouthfeel. Overly sweet.

750 ml swingtop bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 7.9%. Beautiful ruby colour, moderate beige head. Lovely malty aroma with plenty of caramel and rye bread, some mild roasty notes in the background. The flavour is also distinctly malty but not too sweet, caramel, brown bread and mild roasty notes again. Moderate hops in the finish.
