A reward worthy of the climb. Refreshing, crisp and bright, this Cold IPA will have you reaching for more.
A NEW! IPA from FBC, chock-full of hops including Huell Melon, Calista and Comet, along with four specialty malts. FBC’s first Cold IPA – a newer style, referring to an ale fermented at a lower temperature.
Think crisp, drinkable, and hop-forward. Not your typical West Coast IPA, expect a clean, light bodied beer with hints of fruity, floral notes peeking through a hoppy body.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy blonde with a small, short lived, white head that laces. Mild fruity aroma of bready pale malt, honeydew, grapefruit and grassy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, grapefruit, honeydew, passion fruit, grass and pine resin in a crisp, dry, mild bitter, hoppy finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and easy to drink.

Dull gold, slight haze, thin head. I like those melony subtropical fruit notes, some apricot, nice. On the palate, hmmm... ok bitterness, more herbal than I was expecting, toasty. Just okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pale blond colour, hazy. Nice aroma, fruity, white grapes. The mouthfeel is dry and crispy, delicate bready malt flavour; good level of bitterness, with some hop resins, grass, melon, grapes, lemongrass. Sharp finish.
Quite good.
