Bottle from the Bristol Wine Company. Pale gold with moderate carbonation. Description below as ’soft’ is apt. This had some some gentle sweetness up front, before a bitter edge of apple peel and hint of spice in the muted finish. Different and none the worse for it.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Golden colour, no head. Aroma is sweet apples, mild alcohol and some hints of sweet wood. Flavour is apple, cardboard and some wood. Long apple in the aftertaste.

Bottle picked up from Vale Brewery shop, Brill, Bucks Pours nice sparkly clear warm golden colour, plenty of carbonation. Taste is initially sweet, its quite refreshing and in the mouth is soft tasting but their is an appley bite that comes through after. I applaud the fact that Thatchers do so many single variety ciders even if this was is rather run of the mill and lacking the sharpness or tanginess of some of the others.
