Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, lemons, straw, iodined, and peated malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, iodine, peated malt, and alcohol, leading to a drybalcoholic finish.

From tap at Dr Louise. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is wineous fruity and mild citric. Herbal and whiskey following. Solid tarish and whiskey, smoked and light fruity note. Dry and toasted malty. Sweet. Dry, smoked and tarish. The smoked beer in the blend ruined what could have been a fantastic beer, likely great on its own.

Draught @ [ Fanø¸ Tap Takeover ], Dronning Louise, Torvet 19, DK-6700 Esbjerg, Denmark.Unclear - hazy medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, caramel, orange, peat, sweet sweet peat - cognac, light wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart fruit, smoke, peat, sweet coqnac, fruit sweet, riped fruit sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO. not very balance way to much sweet peat and riped sweet fruit ... [20121025]
