Cask@Black Door, Helsinki. Clear amber-copper color, creamy off-white head. Strong honeyish hoppy nose with hints of lemon. Good malty body. Crisp, very bitter flavor. Hints of honey. Very nice long bitter aftertaste. Good session beer. Sample two days later from same cask was much worse.

Cask-conditioned at the Castle, London 16/10/08. Deep amber in colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, spicy hops and a touch of caramel. Flavours of oranges, indeterminate spices and grassy hops, with a decent bitter finish. Ok.

Casked. Deep goldeny amber colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is tea leafs, grass and mild caramel. Flavour is caramel malts, tealeafs, hay and some weird earthy/dryness in it. Twisted.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Odd I really enjoyed this on the Thursday, but the others didn’t like it on the Friday and I had forgotten how much I liked it the first time and it sat on the table for quite some time before being poured away. Deep gold with slight haze, lasting bubbly beige head. Pretty nice hoppy aroma. Little bit of yeast and toffee on aroma, the toffee continues and lends it a sweetish touch, before flowery strongish hop kicks in and makes it all tingly. Good hop finish. Very tasty. Love the hop on the finish.
