Smooth and creamy ice cream pale ale A beery take on an ice cream soda but with a smooth and creamy malt, wheat and oat base with lactose for extra creaminess and sweetness, heaps of Madagascan vanilla pods and a balanced hop profile for subtle hints of bitterness cutting though the sweetness.

Keg at Craft Inn, Worcester, 16/02/23. Clear golden blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is pale malts, vanilla essence, creamy notes, faint citric dirzzle. Taste comprises vanilla ice cream, creamy malts, light herb, sweet citric edge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Overly sweet ... not my kind of bier!

Keg at Sommar Waterloo St. Aroma has spiced and sweet fruits. Opaque light gold. White head forms a ring. Sweet fruit and a lot of malt. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long finish. Nice enough.

Keg draught at Sommar Leicester. Light gold, hazy with a small but thick white head. Light lactic notes, some vanilla with some citrus peel. Sweet taste, bit milky flavour with a possety bitterness in the finish. Medium to heavy carbonation. Pretty good beer with a messy little finish.

On tap at Brewdog Nottingham. Thick orange colour with an off white head. Aroma. Nd taste are sweet and vanilla. Slight tropical fruit. Full lactose body.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street. Poured a hazy golden yellow colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, sweet lactose and chocolate. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a crisp, sweet chocolate, grainy, mineral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasty but super sweet. Would probably become a little sickly over time.
