After drinking the 18y a while ago, my expectations for this are very high ! Pours a clear copper. Scent is very... Different than expected. Butterscotch ( is diacetyl even a thing in mead? ) vanilla, oak, stale pudding ( I know, doesn't seem to make sence in tekst format). Honey is a bit hidden. Taste is smooth, sweet, stale vanilla coockies, mild toothpaste (weird) freshness. Not overly convinced about this one. Doesn't even reach the knees of the 18 y old. Very buttery.
