Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is malty with spicy yeast, some banana, clove, esters, sugary fruit. Lightly floral. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body. Typical Belgian Ale, decent enough.

Fles gekocht tijdens vakantie in Brabant. Goudgeel troebel bier met een mooie witte schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van appel en banaan. Smaak is fruitig, gistachtig met een lichte hint van caramel. Nasmaak is licht hoppig.

Vrij helder goudgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van honing, wat banaan en iets van snoepjes. Niet echt goed.

Bottle. Clear deep golden. Quite yeasty, floral, alcohol, bread crust, glue, wheat. Medium sweet, lighter bitter and a bit of sourness from the wheat. Slick medium bodied. There’s some thing here I like, but somehow it seems like it has a lot of alcohol which is a bit unpleasant.

Bottle, 6.5%. Fruity, malty, caramelly aroma. Yeast and banana notes. Hazy light amber colour. Small head. The flavour is caramelly with a distinct citric note. Very citric finish. Banana and caramel aftertaste.

30cl bottle from Jumbo Zonhoven supermarket. F: medium, white, quick gone. C: gold, almost clear. A: malty, banana, grainy, bit bready, apples, spicy. T: medium malty base, banana, apples, spicy, bready touch, toast, decent bitterness, bit raw but bio so ok, medium carbonation, drinkable but nothing really special.

(Draught at Foeders, Amsterdam, 27 Aug 2022) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with wheat, peaches, banana and clove. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, wheat, peaches, banana, hay and grain. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, harmonious and refreshing. Nice one.
