THT Oktober. Bottle. Black with offwhite head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Bourbon, roasted grain, wood, sweet and greasy. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Sampled at THT October. Very dark brown with beige head. Thick bourbon barrel, light red berries, dark chocolate, soft roast, sweet malts, vanilla, dry wood, dead leaves. Medium sweet, over medium bitter, light sour. Over medium bodied. Something seems wrong in here.

Pours black, small and lightly tanned head. Smell is medium low intensity, roasty, tad boooze ( very hidden ) . Taste is full, intense, roasty. mild smoke ( very mild ) of which I'm not sure it got in here... no peated barrels, no smoked malts… Doesn't really taste like bourbon at all. Mild finish. OK.

Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Toffee, alcohol, a bit bready aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffee, malty, alcohol, some light tartness. Quite rough, doesn't gain too much from barrel.
