Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light liqourice. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a silky smooth, rich, slightly oily, dry coffee, chocolate, earthy, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation. Tasty and the liqourice root really comes through.
