Die Optik dieses Pizza Ale zeigt sich tiefgoldgelb und klar mit feiner Perlage, die langsam nach oben steigt. Dort wartet eine weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone, die sich von einer stabilen und gut haltbaren Seite zeigt. Der Duft wirkt frisch hopfig und vor allem kräuterartig. Kräftig spritzig mit süßlich malzigen Noten im Antrunk. Am Gaumen setzt sich diese Aromatik fort. In erster Linie süßlich getreidig malzig mit leicht floralen Anklängen, die an Honig erinnern. Leicht estrige Noten schwingen dabei mit. Diese verdichten sich zum Abgang hin sogar etwas. So wirkt dieses Bier zwar nicht schlecht, aber ist doch weit weg von einem Gebräu, an das man sich gerne erinnert. Mund- und Trinkgefühl beschreibe ich mal als mäßig bis okay. Im Nachtrunk haben die estrigen Noten ihren Höhepunkt, bauen aber rasch ab und machen für eine zunehmend trockene und adstringierende Hopfenaromatik Platz.

Smell of sweet malt, faint honey. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hay, bread, some earth. Lightly sweet. Soft carbon.

Canned (from Prisma Vaasa). Golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some mild grainy, herbal and earthy tones. Flavou ris pretty much following the same pattern with grains being the kind of strongest element. Meh.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy deep golden, lively head. Aroma of citrus and dough. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Doughy bread, mild spice and citrus. Mid biter finish.

50cl can. Poured clear golden in color with a steady white head. Malty and slightly fruity, some stuffiness. OK food beer, but not really a beer I would enjoy on its own very much,

Clear pale amber colour, small white head. Light perfumic hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Some grainy malts, vinegum, light citrus. Nothing special but tolerable.

Can at home, Tampere. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, some sweetness, some hops... little bit of sweetish ale but not watery.
