Bottled (from Sonnisaari Shop). Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is spices, some nutty, dried fruity and some slight yeasty elements. Flavour is having quite much the same elements as the aroma, but has a bunch more spiciness and also some boozy elements.

Bottle bought at Alko Arkadia in July 2022. A beer from my father's hometown, Oulu. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Sweet with dried fruit, chocolate, some nuts and yeast. Warming alcohol.

Draught @ SOPP Helsinki 2022 Aroma has nuts, some sweet malt. Flavour has fruity yeast, ripe fruits, strong grassy hops. Also sweet toffee candy. Very strong hoppiness for a Belgian ale.

A dark-red beer, a head is quite big and beige. Aroma has dark dried fruits, apricot, earthy sourness. Taste has dried fruits, some dark breadyness, light earthyness, spicyness of anise. Medium+ bodied. Pretty nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 09/2023, thanks Arde, at Arde, 20220114) The beer poured dirty brown. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had aniseed, fruitiness, Belgian style yeast and malts. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, aniseed, spiciness, Belgian style yeast, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. A pleasant brew showing the yeast characteristics.

330ml bottle. Belgian yeasty, heavy and malty with some estery notes, anise and ripe fruits, hints of prunes. A bit unbalanced.

Bottled 330ml (AIH147, tnx JPR!)
Dark hazy ruby colour, good beige head and lace. Dark fruits, sweetness, typical Belgian quad/strong ale aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, wood, Belgian yeast, dark fruits. Quite boozy, maybe needs cellaring.
