Bottled (from Maistila Shop). Deep coppery black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is spicy, mild alcohol with some yeasty tones as well as dried fruits and some rye elements. Flavour is fruity, floral, some herbal toffeeish, quite boozy with some spicy and mild yeasty elements. A bit burning, but otherwise quite a nice Quad. Would most likely be better if aged a bit more.

33 cl bottle @ Hatanpää tasting room, BBE 12/2022 Aroma has sweet sugary tones, ripe fruits and belgian yeast. Flavour has alcohol, sweet ripe fruits and berries. Way too sweet, drinkability could be a lot better.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 23/06/22. Chestnut brown with a light beige covering that escapes edgewards. Nose is nutty, dark malts, earthy, herbal tones, spice, dusty fruits, toffee. Taste comprises much sweeter tones than the nose suggested, caramel, brown sugars, dates, prunes, herb, light spice, fruit cake mix. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Decent enough approachable Quad ... good balance ... doesn't run too sweet.

Malty caramel and berries on the nose. Sweet, boozy, smooth. Rye bread, caramel, some baked fruit, pretty smooth, some yeast in the finish. Not bad.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 12/2022, at Juova, 20220107) The beer poured dark brown and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had malts, prunes, aniseed, Belgian style yeast and toasty notes. Palate was medium bodied and mildly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, prunes, aniseed, toasted malts, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste had aniseed, toasted malts and bitterness. A delicious brew showing the yeast characteristics.

Bottled 330ml (AIH147, tnx JPR!)
Dark brown-ruby colour, tiny off-white head. Aroma has earthy Belgian yeastyness, wineous notes, berries, alcohol. Medium-bodied. Sweet berryish quad, some alcohol. A bit rough, needs cellaring.
