Bottled 25 cl (BB 08/2006)
Ruby portwine red with small cherry head and some lace. Aroma is strange: skunky hops, rubber and very weak cherry aroma. Medium-bodied, round mouthfeel. Cherry and almond flavors, sweet but not too artifical. Some later sourness (and rubbery notes). Besides of odd aroma, decent commercial kriek.

Can - Bing cherry aroma. Scarlet red color with small head. Intensely sweet black cherry flavor - like a cherry Slurpee. Very nice cherry flavor but no hint of lambic. May be nice if you have a sweet tooth but not when you want a beer. You could really impress a sorority girl by buying her one of these.

Bottled. Dark red, smal pink head. Rich balsamic cherry aroma with some candy and a hint of acidity. Very lemonady and simple. Traditional kriek it is not, but seen as lemonade it has it’s advantages.

Bottle. Slightly nauseating aroma of cherries. Deep red colour. Very sweet flavour of cherries. Aftertaste is also sweet. Mouthfeel is interesting. Like liquid candy. Too sweet for me.

Bécasse Extra Kriek
Ruby color. Quite simple; fruity, sweet, a bit artificial. A soft drink.

A deep red beer with a small head. The aroma is very strong of cherries. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of cherries and only slightly sour. Not nearly sour enough.

Deep red colour, pink rapidly-vanishing head. Sweet aroma, something like cherry-marmelade. As Joris also claims this is sweet and syropy. I can perceive some sour flavours, but I don't like this beer at all. I'm happy I bought only one bottle.
