--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, rich beige head. Aroma of licorice, coffee and red wine. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, earth and red wine. Mid bitter finish.

[ As Maku Imperial Stout PX Malaga Cask ].
ABV: 9.1%. Dark dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, barrel, vinous - alcohol - cognac, light molasses. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, smooth, vinous. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230310]

Canned (from Juho V. thanks!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some toasted, peaty and mild sherry tones to it. Flavour is smoked wet wood, some liquorice, mild alcohol with some spiciness and mild sherry to it. Smooth to drink, and quite a pleasant sipper.

Tap at SOPP Tampere. Opaque colour, small beige head and beige head. Sweet vanilla, toffee, a bit wineous aroma. Full-bodied. Toasted, vanilla, some wineous notes, some wood. Simple but ok.

(Can, 0.33 l - 25.11.2022, from the brewery, 20210326) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and vineousness. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vineousness, dark chocolate, vanilla, grapes and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, burnt and bitter. A pleasant burnt brew with subtle barrel notes.

33cl can at tasting 20.03.2021. Thanks to Mjs! Poured dark brown in color. Light head. Toffee, chocolate and malts. Wood and dryness. Some roastedness, some sherry notes. Pretty good, feels like some aging could do good here.
