Bottle at the brewpub, Lindner-Bräu, Bad Kötzting, Friday 15th December 2023. Pours deep chestnut with a ruby hue and large off white head. Some burnt caramel, a little bit on the sweet side, but it's a nice drop.

Swing top bottle from Beerhunter111, thanks! Dark brown color. Toffee in the bready aroma. Full bodied. Smooth, velvety sweet flavor with toffee. Bready. Just a touch of roast. Nice warming Bock.

(swing top bottle, as Weihnachts-Bockbier, 7.0% abv) Slightly hazy, dark brown colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Dark malty and mildly toasted aroma with hints of caramel and milk chocolate. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Delicately toasted and doughy malty taste with distinctive notes of walnuts and a touch of toffee; moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with a well-covered alcoholic strength and notes of walnuts in the aftertaste. Very good. 30.V.12

Old fashioned swing-top bottle , as "Weihnachtsbock": Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, bigger lacy off-white head, roasty-nutty nose, some sour-dough (no infection) in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour with Stout-like traces, medium bodied; drier lingering nutty-toasty finish with a taste of Stout, again, in the aftertaste. Very nice, rural Bock…

Bottle looks very simple, beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts strong, warming malty, not too roasty. Also a bit alcoholic, but not too much. Well balanced finish, strong, a hint of caramel. Well done!
