Draught@SOPP Tampere 2019. Black colour,smallbrown head.Aroma is liquorice, whiskey, toffee and quite boozy. Flavour is liquorice,alcohol, some booze and mild toasted notes. Boozy aftertaste too.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 04/2021, from Alko, 20191011) The beer poured black. Its head was large, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, wood and vanilla. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, sweetness, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, woody and bitter. A tasty burnt brew with subtle enough barrel notes.

0,33l bottle from Alko. Very dark brown, actually black beer with huge and stable cloudy brown head. Aroma has whiskey, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, wood and malts. Flavor is surprisingly quite dry and a bit disappoinment after wonderful aroma. It has malts, coffee, wood and some whiskey. Full body, low carbonation.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured pitch black in color, off white head. Some heat and whisky at first in aroma. Licorice and burnt notes. Roastedness. Tobacco. High carbonation. Could settle for a while, bit edgy as it is for the moment.

Smell of tar, ash. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of whisky, tar, roasted malt, some pepper. Very bitter. Ashy dry palate. Lively carbon.

Opaque colour, steady beige head and lace. Oaky, toasted, bourbon domination in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, some wood and oak, bourbon, but not much of vanilla. Delicate. I like this version.

Tap at HBF2019, Helsinki. Colour is clear dark brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavours: Whiskey, some peat and malts. OK.
