FLN, pretty good Guinness vibes

Tap at brewpub. Opaque black colour, medium-sized creamy beige head and lace. Toasted, tobacco aroms. Light-bodied and watery. Toasted, a bit sweetish flavour with some ashy notes. Light stout.

Well, it seems like this one is replacing the awesome Oyster Stout they had here for years, so a sad moment for me. Dark brown colour with cola highlights, beautiful milky-creamy beige head, lasting a while with streaky-creamy lacing. Roasted malt nose with hints of coffee and molasses. The mouthfeel is milky, silky and wet. The taste shows the beauty of the roasted malts, well-balanced with a light dry finish from the hops. This is a nice regular nitro-stout, but hope to see my Oyster go-to-beer come back soon.
